Are you passionate about technology and great at helping people? We're looking for a Service Desk Analyst to join our IT team and play a key role in delivering exceptional support across the Vertas Group.
At Vertas, you'll be more than just a support analyst. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, contribute to service improvements, support cyber security initiatives, and be part of a team that values collaboration, development, and customer service excellence. You will be based out of our Friars Bridge Road office in the town centre of Ipswich local to the Ipswich Train Station
What You'll Do
- Be the first point of contact for IT support queries and incidents.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows, laptops, mobile devices and business applications.
- Support users with onboarding, account setup, and IT inductions.
- Configure and deploy laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues.
- Support cyber security activities and help colleagues work securely.
- Work with colleagues and third-party suppliers to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the IT team.
- Identify opportunities to improve the experience we provide to our users.
- What We're Looking For
- Experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role, or strong technical aptitude.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A willingness to learn, develop, and grow your technical skills.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of problems.
- Curiosity about technology and a desire to keep learning.
