About the Role:
Based at The Lodge Forest Cafe, Trossachs Road, Aberfoyle, FK8 3SX you will be working 24 hours a week, 4 days a week with 6 hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays. You'll play a key role in assisting with meal preparation, serving food, and maintaining hygiene standards.
Beautiful location, no split shifts or evenings. Occasional weekends may be required. Lovely friendly team who are trying to grow the business. Training provided including First Aid, Barista and Food Safety Level 2.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
* Providing a friendly and professional service to customers at all times.
* Assisting with the preparation and service of food and drinks in accordance with company standards.
* Serving customers, operating tills and handling payments accurately. Counting float at start/end of shift.
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen, café and customer areas.
* Washing up and ensuring equipment, utensils and workspaces are clean and safely stored.
* Assisting with stock rotation, replenishment and the storage of deliveries.
* Supporting the team during busy service periods to ensure efficient operations.
* Following all food safety, allergen and Health & Safety procedures.
* Reporting any maintenance, hygiene or safety concerns to the Catering Manager or Assistant Catering Manager.
* Completing all mandatory training requirements and applying learning in the workplace.
* Promoting a positive image of the business through excellent customer care and presentation.
* Working flexibly across kitchen and front of house duties as required.
* Supporting sustainability initiatives and waste reduction practices.
* Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by management.

* An understanding of the importance of food hygiene and health and safety standards.

* A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
