Length: 3 months
Hours: 8am - 4pm, 5 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays
Pay: £16 per hour PAYE or £20.50 Umbrella

Are you a skilled and reliable chef looking for a seasonal opportunity in a fast-paced café environment? We are seeking an experienced Chef to help run a popular café during our peak tourist season.
About the Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and serving quality café-style comfort food while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking fresh café-style comfort food
- Managing ticket orders efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with stock control and food preparation
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Opening and closing the kitchen each day
- Ensuring all food safety procedures are followed
- Working effectively as part of a busy team
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef in a busy café, restaurant, or hospitality setting
- Ability to work well under pressure during peak trading times
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Food Safety Certificate (essential)
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
- Available to work weekends and bank holidays
