Are you passionate about caretaking, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role:
Based from County Hall, NG2 7QU, you will be working 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 06:00am to 09:00am and 03:00pm to 06:00pm, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in providing high quality caretaking services across multiple sites, ensuring buildings remain safe, secure, clean and well maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening and securing sites as required
  • Travelling between locations to provide caretaking support
  • Waste management
  • Porterage
  • Light decorating
  • Maintenance work
  • Site inspections and health and safety checks
  • Supporting contractors on site
  • Reporting maintenance issues and defects
  • General caretaking duties
  • Cleaning

  • Great customer service and communication skills and experience in a similar setting
  • A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group

  • Listening and responding to colleagues, customers and suppliers to achieve the best outcome
  • The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
