About the Role:
Based across the Newark & Ashfield Area, you will be working 20 hours a week (9:30am to 1:30pm). As a Mobile Assistant Cook, you will support catering teams across multiple sites, helping to prepare and serve healthy, nutritious meals whilst maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include
- Assisting with the preparation and service of meals
- Supporting kitchen teams across multiple locations as required
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Following food safety, health and safety, and company procedures
- Assisting with stock management and kitchen organisation
- Providing excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
Who are we looking for?
- Previous catering or food preparation experience is desirable
- A positive and flexible approach to work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Reliable and able to travel between sites when required
