About the Role:
Based in the Belper area, this position is offered on a zero-hours contract, working on an ad hoc basis to support business needs. There are 3 schools and a library that require cover.
You'll play a key role in maintaining high cleaning standards, ensuring sites are clean, safe, and welcoming-consistently meeting both our expectations and those of our customers.

As this is a mobile role covering multiple sites, you will need your own vehicle and a valid driving licence to be considered.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
- Great communication skills and experience in similar cleaning setting
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
