About the Role:
Based at Abby Primary School, NG19 0AB, you will be working 12.5 hours per week during the school term time. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of a high quality catering service that meets our standards and delights our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
* Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas
* Replenishing food and refreshments as required
* Following food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times
* Supporting the catering team to deliver an efficient service
Who are we looking for?
* Previous food service or catering experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* Great communication skills and experience in a similar catering setting
* A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
* The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
* The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
