About the Role:
Based at King Edwin Primary & Nursery School, NG21 9NS, you will be working Monday to Friday, 11:15am - 1:45pm, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the catering service and maintaining standards that meet our expectations and delight our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with food preparation and service
* Serving meals to pupils and staff in a friendly and professional manner
* Setting up and clearing the dining area
* Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
* Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* Good communication skills and experience in a similar setting
* A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
* The ability to make the best decisions with Vertas in mind
* The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
