About the Role:
Based at County Enterprise Foods, Nottinghamshire, you will be working Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 15:30 and Friday 07:30 to 15:00, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. This role is also known as a General Production Assistant and supports the Meals on Wheels service across Nottinghamshire. You'll play a key role in the production and portioning of meals to a high standard, helping provide vital meals to the local community.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Working on a production line portioning main meals and desserts
* Assisting with the preparation of meals for the Meals on Wheels service
* Following allergen control procedures, training will be provided
* Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and production spaces
* Working at times in chilled or frozen zones, with full clothing and equipment provided
* Supporting the wider catering and production team to meet daily targets
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene, health and food safety are maintained
Who are we looking for?
* Catering or food production experience is desirable but not essential
* Willingness to learn, with full training provided
