About the Role:
Based at NCC - Abbey Gates Primary, NG15 9BN, you will be working 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30 to 13:30, across 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the catering service and ensuring a positive dining experience for customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation and service of food
Maintaining cleanliness within the kitchen and dining areas
Washing up and general kitchen duties
Supporting the catering team during service times
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained
Who are we looking for?
Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
Enhanced DBS check is required, if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
