About the Role:
Based at John Blow Primary, Newark, NG23 7PTl, you will be working 25 hours a week Mon - Fri 8.30am - 1.30pm, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of nutritious meals and compliance with food safety standards.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Order stock and manage budgets effectively
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
