About the Role:
Based in Ipswich, covering Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Sudbury, Stowmarket, Bury St Edmunds and villages in between, you will be working 25 hours per week, 38.6 Weeks per year, Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (Can be flexible). You'll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of nutritious meals and compliance with food safety standards.
***£13.77 per hour plus travel time paid & Mileage @35p per mile***
MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT, DRIVING LICENCE & BUSINESS INSURANCE
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Prepare and serve meals to pupils and staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Order stock and manage budgets effectively
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
