About the Role:
Covering Beeston and the surrounding areas, you will be working 16.25 hours per week and supporting multiple catering sites as required. You'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality food service that meets our standards and delights our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and service of food
- Supporting various schools and catering locations as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic working environment
- Helping with setting up and clearing down food service areas
- Providing a friendly, efficient service to pupils, staff and visitors
- Ensuring food safety standards are followed at all times
Who are we looking for?
- Previous catering or food service experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- A full driving licence and ability to travel between sites
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude
- A team player, providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
- Enhanced DBS check required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
