About the Role:
Based in Mansfield / Worksop Area, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 13:30, term time only. You'll play a key role in leading kitchen operations across multiple sites and ensuring meals are prepared to the highest standards for pupils and staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and cooking meals to meet nutritional standards
* Managing kitchen staff and ensuring smooth daily operations
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Ordering and managing stock effectively
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Travelling between sites as required
Who are we looking for?
* Previous experience in a similar catering role is desirable
* Ability to lead and motivate a team
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
* The ability to adapt and respond to change in a growing organisation
