Head of Kitchen
Location: Arnold, NG5 6TA
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:45am to 1:45pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.27 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Weekly Hours: 30 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment
A Head of Kitchen is required to lead the catering team at a junior school in Arnold. This role ensures the smooth running of the kitchen and the delivery of nutritious meals to pupils in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the preparation and serving of food
* Manage kitchen staff and daily operations
* Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
* Liaise with school staff regarding dietary requirements and meal planning
