We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Head of Kitchen to join our team. This role involves food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Food preparation and cooking
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
- Supervise and manage team members during shifts, providing guidance and leadership where necessary.
- Ensure the kitchen area is clean, organised, and well-stocked at all times.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a kitchen within a school setting is preferred
- Skills in food preparation, cooking, and food safety are essential.
- Supervising experience or team management skills are essential
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team under pressure while maintaining high standards of service and safety standards.
