Head of Kitchen (Primary School)
Location: Nottingham, NG14 5HH
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 14:15pm
Salary: £13.27 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 26.25 hours
Setting: Working within a primary school environment
We are seeking a Head of Kitchen to lead the catering team at Rivendell Flying High Academy. This role ensures the provision of nutritious meals for pupils and staff, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of the school kitchen
- Prepare and serve meals in line with dietary requirements
- Order and manage stock efficiently
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and food hygiene regulations
- Supervise and support kitchen staff
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
