Food Service Assistant (Mobile)

Location: Sutton-in-Ashfield and surrounding areas (NG17 5GA)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30am to 1:45pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 16.25 hours
Setting: Working within a residential care environment

A Mobile Food Service Assistant is required to join the catering team, covering Sutton-in-Ashfield and surrounding areas. This role ensures meals are prepared and served to residents in a safe and hygienic manner. As this is a mobile position, you will be required to travel between sites within the Nottinghamshire borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals
• General food preparation and cleaning duties
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Put out dining tables and chairs
• Undertake any tasks requested by the Head Chef
• Follow health and safety and food hygiene procedures
• Support the catering team with daily tasks

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous catering experience preferred
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Full driving licence and full use of a car (essential for mobile role)
