Setting: Catering within a food production environment
A Production Cook is required to support the kitchen team at County Enterprise Foods. This role involves preparing and cooking food to a high standard, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of foods in line with recipes and production plans
- Assist with portioning and menu development
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Support the team during busy production periods
- Work collaboratively to meet daily targets
- Assist with training new starters and support colleagues as needed
Education and Knowledge
- Basic Food Hygiene certificate
- City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or appropriate NVQ
- Numerate and literate
- Knowledge of hygiene regulations, health & safety, and nutritional food standards

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year's catering experience
