Mobile Head of Kitchen
Location: North Nottinghamshire and Surrounding Areas
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 14:00pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.77 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 30 hours
Setting: Working across multiple school sites within the catering team
A Mobile Head of Kitchen is required to lead and manage the catering service across various locations in North Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas. This role involves overseeing meal preparation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and managing kitchen staff effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and cook meals to a high standard
- Manage kitchen operations and supervise staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
- Monitor stock levels and place orders as required
- Travel between sites to provide cover and support
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory catering role essential
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different environments
- Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle
- Enhanced DBS required or willingness to obtain one
