Northamptonshire Partnership Homes is looking for an Asset Investment Manager - Complex Cases to lead the effective management of complex property cases while helping to shape and deliver the wider asset investment programme.
This is a senior role combining technical property expertise, case management, leadership and customer focus. You will lead a team including two Property Surveyors and Complex Case Admin, reporting to the Assistant Director of Asset Management.
The role
A key priority will be successfully managing and reducing disrepair and DMC caseloads, working collaboratively across the organisation to understand recurring issues and put solutions in place. Where necessary, you may also act as an Expert Witness.
Alongside complex case management, you will:
- Lead the delivery of asset investment programmes, ensuring customers remain at the heart of decisions.
- Oversee contracts and contractors, including performance and budget management.
- Work closely with Asset Strategy, Housing Management, Repairs and Development colleagues.
- Use property and performance data to identify emerging priorities and improve stock condition.
- Oversee property surveys relating to disrepair, planned works and stock condition.
- Ensure complaints are thoroughly investigated and responses are comprehensive and high quality.
- Maintain strong standards around compliance, health and safety and quality assurance.
- Lead, coach and develop your team while embedding a strong performance culture.
- Manage investment programme budgets and develop business cases to support future investment requirements.
About you
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical property knowledge with the judgement and leadership needed to navigate complex cases.
You will bring:
- RICS/CIOB qualification and degree-level education in building or construction.
- Experience of case management and associated legal protocols.
- Strong knowledge of the housing sector, building construction, property maintenance and improvement.
- Experience delivering asset investment programmes for tenants and leaseholders.
- Experience managing multi-site services and technical areas of responsibility.
- Strong contract, project, performance and financial management skills.
- Experience leading teams through change and developing colleagues.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to balance technical, customer and organisational considerations to reach practical solutions.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
Experience of resident engagement would also be beneficial.
