Tree Team Leader

Location: Walsall (On-Site, 5 Days per Week)
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: £20.29 PAYE / £27.00 Umbrella per Hour
IR35: Inside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Tree Team Leader to oversee a team of Arborists delivering tree maintenance services across the borough.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise arboricultural operations and tree maintenance works.
• Plan and allocate daily workloads to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Monitor performance, attendance, and health & safety compliance.
• Manage operational resources, vehicles, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant management systems.
• Support service improvements and ensure high standards of customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Level 2 Arboriculture qualification or above (evidence required).
• Previous experience leading arboricultural or environmental services teams.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety and arboricultural best practice.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to pass Licence Bureau checks, including Fitness to Drive and Medication Declarations.
