Opus People Solutions are excited to recruit on behalf of Vertas for a dedicated Landscape Operative to join the Facilities Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces and enjoys working as part of a team to deliver high standards across school environments.

Location: Nottingham NG17 3DH
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:00
Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining school outdoor areas to a high standard
  • Grass cutting and general grounds upkeep
  • Operating equipment such as strimmers and other powered tools
  • Marking out football pitches and running track lines
  • Ensuring all areas are tidy, safe, and presentable at all times

Requirements

  • Previous grounds maintenance/Landscape Operative or similar experience desirable
  • Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment and power tools
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

All offers will be subject to satisfactory compliance screening, including right to work in the UK and references. In addition, due to the nature of the role the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure will be undertaken.
