About the Role:
Based within the South Derbyshire area, you will be working 20 hours a week (working shifts between the hours of 7am - 7pm) Monday to Friday. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness. Due to this being a mobile position, you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Unlocking and locking up of the school
- General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and hygienic
- Carrying out basic checks and light maintenance
- Supporting overall site cleanliness and presentation
- Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and have a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety (all training will be provided).
