Repairs Officer - Interim Contract

Location: North Northamptonshire (Office & Site Based)
Contract: Interim 3-Month Rolling Contract

We are seeking an experienced Repairs Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality repairs and maintenance service across our housing stock.

Key duties include:

• Carrying out void property surveys and preparing work specifications.
• Undertaking site safety inspections, work in progress visits, snagging inspections, and post-inspections.
• Monitoring contractor and trade performance to ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.
• Providing technical support and advice on repairs and maintenance matters.
• Preparing reports, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety, building, and environmental legislation.
• Supporting the Team Leader with the supervision of repairs, maintenance, and compliance activities.

Requirements:

• Experience within housing repairs, maintenance, property services, or building surveying.
• Knowledge of repairs and maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Repairs Officer looking for an immediate interim assignment in a varied and hands-on role.
