About the Role:
Based at County Hall, NG2 7QP, you will provide relief caretaking support as required, helping to ensure the site remains safe, secure, clean, and well maintained. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to work independently while supporting the wider facilities management team.
Your responsibilities will include
- Opening and securing buildings in line with site procedures
- Carrying out routine inspections and basic maintenance tasks
- Reporting building defects and health and safety concerns
- Supporting contractors and visitors on site when required
- Ensuring the premises remain clean, safe, and presentable
- Assisting with room setups and site operational requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Previous caretaking, facilities, maintenance, or site support experience is desirable
- Good practical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A flexible and reliable approach to work
