We're recruiting for a Project Officer to support a range of housing improvement projects within a Local Authority. This is more than an administrative role - you'll be involved in research, report writing, project planning, risk assessment, budgeting, stakeholder engagement and service reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Support reviews of Independent Living Services, Lifeline and Out of Hours services.
- Contribute to projects around rents, service charges and tenancy agreements.
- Produce project plans, risk registers, option appraisals and reports.
- Carry out research, costings and feasibility assessments.
- Organise tenant consultation and engagement events.
- Develop policies, procedures and new ways of working.
- Deliver training and guidance on service changes.
Requirements
- Experience within Social Housing is essential.
- Independent Living Services experience is desirable.
- Previous Local Authority experience is preferred.
- Strong project support, research and report-writing skills.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be within a commutable distance and able to attend site as required.
