Are you passionate about caretaking, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service? Vertas is looking for a dedicated Mobile Caretaker to join our Facilities Team.

About the Role:
Based within the DE55, Alfreton area you will be working 15 hours a week (working split shifts from 7am-8am and 4pm-6pm) Monday to Friday. You'll play a key role in providing high-quality caretaking services to oversee maintenance and cleanliness. Due to this being a mobile position, you will need to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Unlocking and locking up of the school
  • General cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and communal areas
  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting surfaces
  • Cleaning toilets and replenishing supplies
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  • Ensuring all areas are kept clean, safe, and hygienic
  • Carrying out basic checks and light maintenance
  • Supporting overall site cleanliness and presentation
  • Demonstrating Health and Safety awareness and have a willingness to attend training courses including Health and Safety (all training will be provided).
