  • Can confidently manage safeguarding assessments and interventions
  • Are committed to delivering high-quality services and working collaboratively with partner agencies

Why Join Solihull?

Solihull Integrated Front Door is a stable and well-performing service. Current vacancies have arisen primarily due to internal promotions, reflecting the development opportunities available within the authority.

Agency workers consistently tell us they choose to stay because of:

  • Manageable caseloads, averaging between 16-20 children
  • Excellent training and development opportunities
  • Approachable and supportive management
  • Monthly one-to-one supervision
  • Monthly group supervision
  • Bi-monthly service development workshops
  • Strong partnership working with Police, Health and Education services
  • Positive and effective relationships between MASH and Assessment Teams
  • A culture where staff feel genuinely valued

As a smaller local authority, Solihull offers the opportunity to build strong professional relationships and work collaboratively across services to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people.

Additional Information

  • Flexible working hours may be considered for the right candidate. We welcome discussions prior to interview.
  • Due to the semi-rural nature of the area, candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

If you are an experienced Social Worker looking to join a supportive, stable and forward-thinking service, we would love to hear from you.
