About the Role:
Based at Phoenix Infant and Nursery School, NG4 4EL, you will be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 10:30 and 15:00 to 18:00, full year, earning £13.21 per hour.
This is a split shift role offering variety throughout the day. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and well kept school environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Opening and securing the school premises
Carrying out general site maintenance and basic repairs
Cleaning communal areas, offices, and staff facilities
Overseeing cleaning staff and ensuring standards are maintained
Supporting ad hoc cleaning duties including hall floors and shared spaces
Who are we looking for?
Previous caretaking or site support experience is beneficial
A practical and proactive approach to maintenance tasks
Ability to supervise and support a small cleaning team
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
