About the Role:
Based at Sure Start Chilwell, NG9 5AL, you will be working 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 16:00 - 18:30, 52 weeks per year.
This role includes key holder responsibilities, with the final hour of each shift involving locking up and ensuring the site is secure.
You'll play a key role in maintaining cleanliness to a high standard while also taking responsibility for site security at the end of each day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning toilets and washrooms
- Wiping down tables and surfaces
- General cleaning duties across classrooms and communal areas
- Hoovering and mopping floors
- Ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
- Securing the building, locking up and ensuring all areas are safe at the end of shift
Who are we looking for?
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
- Great communication skills and experience in a similar environment
- A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
- Reliable and trustworthy, with the ability to take responsibility for key holding duties
