About the Role:
Based in Chelmsford, CM1 2QU, you will be working Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 15:00pm, 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in maintaining the site to a high standard that meets our standards and delights our customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing waste on site, including chemical waste, full training provided
* General cleaning and caretaking duties across the site
* Setting up meeting rooms and supporting office moves
* Basic painting and decorating duties
* Operating a forklift occasionally, licence and full training provided
* Monitoring site standards and reporting defects or issues
* Ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety and cleanliness are maintained
Who are we looking for?
* Previous caretaking, facilities or maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and efficiently
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* Great communication skills and experience in a similar setting
* A team player providing an excellent service across the Vertas Group
