About the Role
Suffolk County Council is seeking an experienced Consultant Social Worker to join the Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub in Ipswich. This is a fast‑paced, decision‑focused role requiring strong analytical skills and extensive MASH knowledge.
Working arrangements: 3 days a week in the office
Key Responsibilities
Gather and analyse information following social care referrals.
Assess risk and need in line with Suffolk's Thresholds Document.
Make clear, evidence‑based recommendations for next steps.
Work collaboratively within the MASH environment, engaging with multi‑agency partners to build an accurate picture of risk.
Ensure timely and high‑quality decision-making to safeguard children and families.
About You
MASH experience is essential
Experienced Social Worker with strong assessment and decision‑making skills.
Confident working in a busy, multi‑agency environment.
Able to work on-site full‑time at Landmark House.
