Shifts: 37 hours Monday-Friday between 7:30am-3:30pm

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council for Refuse Loaders to temporarily join their busy team within waste department.

Main duties:

• To undertake refuse/recycling/garden waste collection from all properties listed on route including wheeled bins, bulk containers, sacks and bulky items.
• Manual handling, clearing of fly tipping, manoeuvring wheeled bins between storage points and vehicles, use the lifting mechanism on the vehicle.
• Litter picking and bin emptying
• Maintain a good service to the public at all times

The right candidate will be physically fit and able to work in adverse weather, must have a valid passport and be able to provide own safety boots.
