About the Role:
Based at Unit 40 Fred Castle Way, Rougham Industrial Estate, IP30 9ND, you will be working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only, with split shifts: approximately 06:30 - 09:00 and 14:30 - 17:00. You'll play a key role in providing safe and reliable home-to-school transport for children, including those with special educational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Safely transporting children from home to school and back
* Ensuring pupils are collected and dropped off securely and punctually
* Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
* Following safeguarding and duty-of-care procedures at all times
Who are we looking for?
* Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
* Valid West Suffolk Private Hire Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
* Professional, reliable, and caring approach
* Previous driving or customer service experience desirable
* Enhanced DBS check is required - if you do not currently hold one, you must be willing to obtain it
* If you do not currently hold a Private Hire Licence, successful applicants must agree to a training bond
