As this is a multi site business, you will be expected to travel to the other site in Suffolk, you will also benefit from hybrid work from home. The primary base will be in Felixstowe.
About the Role
You will support the business with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple sites. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will provide the insight and challenge needed to drive profitability, efficiency, and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process.
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts aligned to business performance and strategy.
- Produce timely, accurate management reports.
- Analyse variances, identify trends, and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Work closely with operational leaders to analyse costing models and key metrics.
- Challenge performance, support decision‑making, and drive operational efficiency.
- Deliver financial modelling and analysis for strategic projects, investments, and potential M&A activity.
- Identify, track, and report on KPIs aligned to business goals and growth plans.
- Assist with month‑end close activities and group reporting requirements.
About YouQualifications
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or part‑qualified, with relevant experience.
Skills & Experience
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability.
- Experience producing management information and performance analysis.
- Exposure to costing models, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Manufacturing sector experience is highly desirable.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially minded with strong analytical thinking.
