About the Role
Northamptonshire Children's Trust is seeking an experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our Team. This is a vital role supporting our commitment to ensuring safe, nurturing foster placements for children and young people across the county.You will be responsible for completing high‑quality fostering assessments, contributing to recruitment activity, and playing an active part in the team's ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Form F assessments using the new 2025 Coram BAAF assessment format.
- Participate fully in team meetings and collaborative discussions.
- Contribute to the delivery of Skills to Foster training for prospective foster carers.
- Support recruitment events, representing the Trust professionally and positively.
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
- Experience completing Form F assessments.
- Strong understanding of fostering regulations, assessment processes, and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report‑writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload.
