About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement care plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced social workers.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience within Children in Care or Looked After Children teams.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
