Location: Hawthorne Primary & Nursery School, NG6 8XE

Hours: 11.25 hours a week (6am-8.12am Monday to Friday)

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness with a school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environments are tidy, safe, and welcoming. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating clean, organised spaces.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and waste disposal
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and in good condition
• Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor promptly
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning procedures
• Ensure all areas are left in a presentable condition at the end of each shift

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
