Salary: £12.41 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of Cotmanhay Children's Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the environment remains hygienic, safe, and welcoming. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your cleaning and organisational skills within a professional setting, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in all work areas
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues or hazards and report them promptly
- Restock supplies such as cleaning materials and toiletries as needed
- Ensure all equipment is used correctly and maintained in good working order
- Assist with minor repairs or liaise with contractors for larger maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules and maintenance activities
