Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a school setting. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in a pristine condition, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to high standards.
- Ensure waste disposal is handled efficiently and bins are emptied regularly.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the relevant department.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents or contamination.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
