Salary: £12.41 per hour
Hours: 20 hours a week (4 hours a day-times to be discussed at interview) Overtime will also be available
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Caretaker to oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of our premises. The ideal candidate will possess experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services, ensuring that the environment remains safe, hygienic, and welcoming for all visitors and staff. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-maintained facility while working in a supportive team environment.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of commercial spaces, including offices, corridors, restrooms, and communal areas
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and organise reordering as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance issues or hazards
- Report any repairs or safety concerns to management promptly
- Maintain organised storage areas for cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and management
