Hours: Typically 5:00am to 9:00am and 2:00pm to 7:00pm (flexible based on site schedules and needs)
Salary: £26,824.00 per annum

We are seeking a Building Cleaning Skills Trainer with extensive industry experience to deliver high-quality training across school and commercial sites. This role is pivotal in supporting staff development and maintaining exceptional operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel between sites to deliver in-person training on cleaning techniques, equipment use, and health & safety practices
• Develop and maintain training documentation, including updates on legislation and site-specific requirements
• Support and contribute to the annual FM training plan
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Trial and document new cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with external audit standards and GDPR in training records
• Collaborate with Account Managers and Systems & Quality Manager to identify training gaps
• Provide evidence of planned and delivered training sessions
• Support development of training aligned with British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS) standards

What We're Looking For

• Full UK driving licence (van provided)
• Proven experience in the cleaning industry with strong knowledge of methods, chemicals, and equipment
• Confident in delivering training and communicating with staff across schools and commercial sites
• Holds relevant qualifications including COSHH, Health & Safety, and other industry standards
• Comfortable using technology for training delivery and record keeping
• Flexible, reliable, and able to respond to short-notice training needs
• High level of personal drive and commitment to excellent service
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
• Able to start immediately
