Administration Officer
Location: Civic Offices Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, hybrid working available
Hourly rate: £13.90
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Contract Length: 2 months

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Milton Keynes City Council for an Administration Officer to support the Council's Concessionary Travel Card Scheme by processing applications.

Key Deliverables:

  • To provide an efficient service to MK Move All in 1 smart card applicants using all access channels: online, email and telephone, whilst maintaining high standards of personal presentation and customer care.
  • To be responsible for processing refund requests, transferring unused period passes or / and PAYG balance, issue concessionary youth replacement cards, hot listing lost cards and provide general advice to the customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.
  • To answer all enquiries submitted via case viewer form. Cases that require escalation should be reported to Senior Transport Officer.
  • To be able to communicate confidently and effectively with staff from other service areas, in particular Bus Cards team, and customers.
