Location: Newark-on-Trent, NG23 7PT
Hours: Split shifts - 6:00am to 10:00am and 3:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £12.41 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 37 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment

A Caretaker is required to ensure the school premises at John Blow Primary are safe, secure, and well-maintained. This role involves opening and closing the site, carrying out routine maintenance, and supporting the school team.

Key Responsibilities

• Open and close the school premises
• Carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks
• Ensure health and safety standards are met
• Monitor site security and report any issues
• Support cleaning and site upkeep as required

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and proactive
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous caretaking or maintenance experience preferred
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
