Lead Operations Manager
Full-Time, Permanent - Derbyshire
The Lead Operations Manager oversees daily FM cleaning service delivery across schools, academies, commercial sites and local authority locations. The role leads Regional Managers, supports operational transformation and ensures all services meet contractual, financial and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee day-to-day FM service delivery across multiple sites.
* Lead and support Regional Managers and a part-time workforce.
* Develop and deliver action and project plans to drive service transformation.
* Ensure compliance with policies, training, health & safety and company standards.
* Build strong client relationships and provide regular communication.
* Monitor and analyse P&L for each account and report to Head of FM.
* Identify risks, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
* Provide coaching, mentoring and leadership to operational teams.
* Ensure contracts are adequately staffed, supported and delivered effectively.
Key Requirements:
* Strong FM operational background, particularly in soft services.
* Experience leading multi-site teams and delivering transformation.
* Excellent organisational, communication and client engagement skills.
* Confident in analysing P&L, budgeting and forecasting.
* Ability to work autonomously, manage time effectively and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* IT-proficient with a full UK driving licence.
