Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring environments are safe, welcoming, and well-presented. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are needed
- Dispose of waste responsibly and adhere to health and safety regulations
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning routines
- Engage courteously with clients or staff, providing excellent customer service where necessary
- Follow company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards related to cleaning activities
- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to operate basic cleaning machinery and equipment is preferred
- Driving licence is desirable for roles involving travel between sites
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly and professional approach
