We are looking for a People Partner to support on a 12‑month maternity cover.
In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of HR processes, from onboarding and performance reviews to policy development, ensuring they remain aligned with evolving business needs. You will support managers with recruitment and people management, supervise a People & Culture Assistant to ensure smooth daily operations, and collaborate with the wider group on initiatives that strengthen culture, enhance team cohesion, and elevate the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic guidance and support to senior leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering a workplace where all individuals can thrive.
Manage sensitive and complex employee relations issues with discretion and professionalism.
Design and implement HR tools, processes, and analytics to enable data‑driven decision‑making.
Partner with leadership to deliver company‑wide programs, including compensation reviews, performance management, and training.
Organise team‑building activities that encourage collaboration and strengthen working relationships.
Lead initiatives related to wellbeing and DE&I programs.
Support the Learning & Development strategy, ensuring training is tailored to team needs and delivered regularly.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and service excellence.
Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Requirements
CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience).
Demonstrated success in applying HR processes and systems within complex organisations.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
Understanding of behavioural psychology and motivation.
Proactive, experimental mindset with a willingness to iterate and collaborate.
Experience leading and developing teams, with cross‑functional collaboration.
