Team Manager - Looked After Children's Team
Location: Shropshire Council
Rate: £41.42 per hour
Contract: 3 months initially
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead our Looked After Children's Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an outstanding authority committed to maintaining high practice standards and driving continuous improvement.
About the Role:
- Manage a team of 6 Social Workers and 1 Family Support Worker
- Oversee care planning and pathway planning for children looked after, including long-term CLA, placement with parents, and SGO plans
- Ensure timely decision-making and progression of plans without drift or delay
What We're Looking For:
- Proven statutory experience within children's services
- Strong track record in performance management and quality assurance
- Ability to maintain high standards and deliver positive outcomes
