Private Hire Drivers - Home to School Transport
Location: Unit 40 Fred Castle Way, Rougham Industrial Estate, IP30 9ND
Hours: 25 hours/week (Monday to Friday, term time only)
Shift Pattern: 2x shifts daily - Approx 06:30 - 09:00 and 14:30 - 17:00
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Weeks: 39 weeks per year

The Role
We are seeking dedicated Private Hire Drivers to join our Passenger Transport team, providing vital home-to-school transport services for children-many with special educational needs. This role offers meaningful, part-time work within your local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transporting children from home to school and back
- Ensuring pupils are collected and dropped off securely and punctually
- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle
- Following safeguarding and duty-of-care procedures at all times
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (clean preferred)
- Valid West Suffolk Private Hire Licence (or willingness to obtain one)
- Professional, reliable, and caring approach
- Previous driving or customer service experience desirable
If you do not currently hold a Private Hire Licence, successful applicants must agree to a training bond.
